Services and Costs

The initial cost for Long Term Freeze is currently £665. This covers up to 4 separate samples (if necessary,) the first year's storage, and a consultation with the Doctor, Counsellor and Cryobank Scientists. After this you will be charged annual renewal fee of £230 (this is subject to annual review). You have the option to pre-pay at a discounted rate for 5 years (£1,240 initial fee + 5 years storage inclusive saving £330) or 10 years - (£1,820 initial fee + 10 years storage, inclusive saving £880). Alternatively, you will be asked to complete a direct debit mandate in order to facilitate payment.

We are also now testing all patients for HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C in accordance with HFEA recommendations. The cost of this is in addition to the £665 fee and is £299.

If, for any reason, you fail to meet any future payment obligations, you will be notified and your samples will be disposed of three months after the date of that notice if you have not rectified the position. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further information.

Where will my sperm samples be stored?

Your samples will be stored in special storage tanks in our laboratory at: -

What will happen after I finish my treatment?

It is most important that you keep in contact with Bridge and inform us of any change of address.

If at any stage you decide that you no longer wish to store your sperm samples, we require notification in writing. Following this, the samples will be discarded and this will be confirmed to you in writing.

If you wish to use your sperm samples to try and achieve a pregnancy in the future, contact Bridge on 020 7403 3363 to arrange for an appointment for an Initial Consultation with one of our fertility specialists.
